Grounding Embodiment Practice (16 min video)
|
Prompts for sections 07 & 08 (not printed in the workbook).
You may want to cut and paste this into your workbook on the appropriate page.
07 - Grounding, beginning on page 14
1. Please review what you wrote in sections 05 & 06, noting words that jump out at you, for whatever reason -- words that you see you wrote more than once, words that surprise you/draw curiosity or excitement, words you want to interrogate.
Ex: For me, “connected, create, powerful, authentic, love”
===================================================
2. Now, pull one - three words from that list and form a question you want to ask your highest self. Place the question at the top of "Part 1," page 15.
Ex: My question – “If I desire to feel more connected to myself and others this year, what do I need to know about my own sense of my power and love?”
Ex: “As I tap into the part of myself that knows more than I know now, how do I get through 2025 with more ease and grace?”
===================================================
3. Take 8 mins to respond to your question you just wrote in “Part 1,” page 15.
Allow this free-write to tap into your whole being without overthinking and judging yourself or what comes out. You have 4 sheets to respond but feel free to add paper if you run out of space.
===================================================
4. Skim over what you wrote, take one word or line or theme to the top of “Part 2,” page 19.
Take 4 mins to write based on that word or line or theme you’ve carried to the top of “Part 2”
==================================================
5. Skim over what you wrote, take one word or line or theme to the top of “Part 3,” page 22.
Take 2 mins to write based on that word or line or theme you’ve carried to the top of “Part 3.”
==================================================
6. Lastly, skim over what you wrote, take one word or line or theme to the top of “Part 4,” page 24. This can be something you continue to write about.
==================================================
08- Blooming, beginning on page 25
On page 26: How do you foresee yourself, your loved ones, your community blooming in 2025, despite...? Maybe this is a promise, a creed, a reminder, or a letter you want to write yourself or someone else (even if you don’t give it to them). Maybe it’s a in relation to what you wrote in Grounding. Use this space and time to write (or draw) your heart’s intention in response to its longing.
